Super Snow in Damüls – Winter Has Arrived Ahead of Time

Winter has already shown its first sparkle in Damüls: the snow is falling early this year, and that’s a very promising sign for the season ahead. At around 1,450 metres above sea level, Damüls is no stranger to heavy snowfall. In fact, it’s known as one of the snowiest villages in the Alps, receiving on average more than 9 metres of snow each winter.
This early snowfall has already transformed the landscape into something magical: snow-dusted pine trees, crisp mountain air and the peaceful silence that only a freshly coated valley can bring. It feels as if winter is making its entrance a little earlier this year — and Damüls is ready.
